The BCPVPA is looking for a visionary leader to support the work of the Board of Directors and the President, provide strategic guidance in governance and partner and government relations, and manage the daily operations of the Association and its 14 professional and support staff.

The BC Principals’ & Vice-Principals’ Association is the professional organization representing school-based and district principals in BC public schools. The Association advocates for the members and supports them in their professional learning and employment relationship with school boards.

The BCPVPA is looking for a visionary leader to support the work of the Board of Directors and the President, provide strategic guidance in governance and partner and government relations, and manage the daily operations of the Association and its 14 professional and support staff.

The successful candidate will have an outstanding record of leadership in the public education sector and possess a detailed knowledge of the K-12 system in British Columbia. The candidate will have a successful history of working with elected Boards and in developing and implementing a Board’s strategic vision. He or she will have experience in human resource management and in developing and managing budgets.
